Join a cast of motivated young artists and be part of something special! YDTGC showcases children ages 7 and up in many different dance styles. The 2025-26 season includes two full-length storybook ballets: An [Urban] Christmas Carol and Wednesday Addams - The Ballet.
Dancers ages 8 years and older male and female audition for the show. Dancers need not be registered students of Baila Conmigo/Dance With Me to audition or be part of the show. However, it is highly recommended that company members take technique classes somewhere.
Everyone who auditions will be accepted into the company. We will give every dancer the opportunity to perform, regardless of ability level and will place them in age and skill appropriate roles.
You sign up for video auditions by completing a registration form, AND paying the $25 audition fee. Then, send in your audition video by November 30, 10 a.m.
We have lots of fun roles! Check them out here: Roles
Yes, there is a $500 all-inclusive production fee per cast member. This covers all choreography and instructor fees for 80+ hours of rehearsal, venue rental, tech staff, a dancer t-shirt, a professional headshot for the printed program, and access to the show video. Families must either pay in full at auditions or enroll in autopay for installments.
UPDATE: Thanks to a generous matching grant, families are responsible for only $250, provided this amount is paid in full upfront.
As a nonprofit, YDTGC is committed to making high-quality dance experiences accessible, but we must also remain financially sustainable amid declining arts funding. The production fee helps cover the real costs of producing a professional-level show.
Given the extensive rehearsal and creative work involved, this opportunity offers significant value—often exceeding the equivalent cost of weekly dance classes.
Parents have the opportunity to volunteer the entire season to support the dance company and our dance community. More information on volunteer opportunities will be available closer to showtime.
